Films

Years ago, I was heavily invested in producing short computer-animated films, sometimes referred to as Machinima, using The Movies by Lionhead Studios.

This is where you can watch my archive of animated films.

For My Fellow Soldier

Poster for the animated film "For My Fellow Soldier"

For My Fellow Soldier follows one British soldier as he journeys through Normandy, and touches the lives of those around him. It is set in Britain and France in 1944, when Allied troops were sweeping across mainland Europe.

This was my first animated film, released at a time when the community surrounding The Movies was reaching its peak in creativity. It features music provided in-game, primarily orchestral works from the City of Prague, Philharmonic Orchestra. Along with a talented cast of voice actors from The Movies community in the 2006-2007 time period.

Running Time: 30:57

Original Release: March 2007

To TMO or Not to TMO

In the tradition of Dr. Seuss and the 1940's "How-To" series by Disney, starring Goofy, comes To TMO or Not To TMO. Follow TMOMovieMaker as he attempts to create his first "The Movies" film. Assisted by the narrator, will he complete his film and gain TMO fame, or go completely crazy trying?!

My second animated film acted as a guide to dealing with some of tricky aspects of making movies in what is essentially a tycoon game, while hopefully keeping you entertained. It features music provided in-game, primarily of the Big Band variety. Along with a talented cast of voice actors from The Movies community in the 2007 time period.

Running Time: 14:05

Original Release: November 2007

OMG! TMO is Closing!

Poster for the animated film "OMG! TMO is Closing!"

In 2008, it was announced by Lionhead Studios that The Movies Online -- the companion website that hosted thousands of fan-made films -- would be shut down. What was The Movies community to do in the face of such a crisis?!

My third animated film was a zany comedic take on the closure of TMO. Filled with impressions of Bush administration officials, Conan O'Brien, and even Beavis and Butthead, have a little fun with our movie closure woes.

Running Time: 7:33

Original Release: November 2008
