Each of the four major player factions manufactures its own distinct tactical destroyer. To pilot a tactical destroyer, you'll need to be an Omega clone, and train your racial Tactical Destroyer skill to at least level 1.
Copy the fits on this page to your clipboard, and import them in the fitting window in-game. Tweak as needed, or as you see fit!
Note that many of these fits are extremely tight on CPU and/or power grid, requiring perfect fitting skills. If you're still training your fitting skills, you can drop the microwarpdrive in favour of an afterburner. A cap battery or cap recharger are solid replacements.
Replacing the Tech II shield boosters or armour repairers with deadspace versions will greatly enhance these fits, if you don't mind the extra cost.
An upcoming 5-part video series exploring the suitability of tactical destroyers is in the works! The first part has been released, and takes you through the ship attributes that makes them competitive for running high-security combat sites. The subsequent parts detailing each faction's tactical destroyer are planned for the spring and summer of 2022, beginning sometime after the release of the 13-part series detailing Angel Cartel sites.
The ultimate small energy turret platform for combat, the Confessor features bonuses to damage and activation cost, along with an additional range bonus when in Sharpshooter mode. Its strong armor resistances and frigate-sized signature radius in Defense mode make it an armor-tanking powerhouse.
The Confessor's high damage output and fairly uniform armor resistance profile make it a strong choice for running combat sites all over New Eden.
My starting fit for running high-security Angel Cartel combat sites. This fit is untested, and is intended to mimic the function of the Retribution fit found on the assault frigates page.

My backup fit for running high-security Angel Cartel combat sites, if the sniping fit doesn't work out. This fit is untested, but I believe it should be capable of completing all high-security combat sites for all pirate factions.
It is cap-stable with the afterburner and a single armour repairer running. The second armour repairer can run for up to two minutes before depleting the capacitor.

The ultimate light missile or rocket platform, the Jackdaw features bonuses to damage, rate of fire, and reload time. Its strong shield resistances and frigate-sized signature radius in Defense mode make it a shield-tanking powerhouse.
Switching to auto-targeting missiles should make the Jackdaw unrivalled for combat anomalies in particular. With its only weakness being EM resistances, it is highly competitive against Serpentis, Guristas, and Angel Cartel NPCs.
With an extremely short align time in Propulsion mode, the Jackdaw is a good choice for traveling through low-security systems to escalations.
My starting fit for running high-security Serpentis combat sites. This fit is untested, and is intended to mimic the function of the Hawk fit found on the assault frigates page.

My backup fit for running high-security Serpentis combat sites, if the sniping fit doesn't work out. This fit is untested, but I believe it should be capable of completing most high-security combat sites for all pirate factions.
It is very close to being cap-stable with both the afterburner and shield booster running.

The ultimate small hybrid turret platform, the Hecate features bonuses to damage, rate of fire, and tracking speed. Its strong armour resistances and reduced armor repairer duration in Defense mode make it an armor-tanking powerhouse.
The Hecate's high damage output and strong kinetic and thermal resistances make it a strong choice for running most combat sites, with the exception of the Angel Cartel.
With an extremely short align time in Propulsion mode, the Hecate is a good choice for traveling through low-security systems to escalations.
My starting fit for running high-security Guristas combat sites. This fit is untested, and is intended to mimic the function of the Enyo fit found on the assault frigates page.

It is cap-stable with the afterburner and a single armor repairer running. The second armor repairer can run for over a minute before depleting the capacitor.

The ultimate small projectile turret platform for combat, the Svipul features bonuses to damage and optimal range, along with an additional tracking speed bonus when in Sharpshooter mode. Its uniform shield resistances make it a versatile shield tanking choice, though it's capable of an active armor tank as well.
I found it challenging to theory-craft fits for the Svipul, but ultimately settled on an armor tank that includes a tracking computer. I believe this should be competitive for running high-security Blood Raider or Sansha's Nation combat sites.
My starting fit for running high-security Blood Raider or Sansha's Nation combat sites. This fit is untested, and is intended to mimic the function of the Wolf fit found on the assault frigates page.

My backup fit for running high-security Blood Raider and Sansha's Nation combat sites, if the sniping fit doesn't work out. This fit is untested, sacrificing scan resolution for additional damage resistances and a cap-stable tank.

An alternative active shield-tank fit that might be capable of running most combat sites for all pirate factions. This fit sacrifices scan resolution and the microwarpdrive in favour of a strong uniform cap-stable shield tank.
I hope you've memorized your projectile ammo damage types!
