New players choose from one of three descendants at the beginning of their playthrough: Viessa, the cold-blooded hunter; Lepic, the final grenadier; or Ajax, the liberated guardian. Completing the first map zone, Kingston, and the first Colossus, Grave Walker, gains access to Bunny, the speedster. Additional descendants can be acquired through research by talking to Anais in Albion.
