Data Site Loot Statistics

This page reveals my loot statistics for high-security pirate faction data sites. These statistics come from running 100 data sites for each of the five major pirate factions.

The data sites video guide is planned for release on Wednesday, August 2nd.

Average Item Count by Item Type

This table shows the minimum, maximum, and average number of each type of item that can drop in data site containers.

Data Sites by Pirate Faction

Within each region of high-security space, I ran 100 data sites. This table shows the number of each type of data site that I found while gathering my loot statistics.

Most high-security data sites have 1 + [Scanning Difficulty] containers, with the exception of the Local Backup Server. Sites with a scanning difficulty of level 3 and 4 include Com Tower containers.

Empty Containers by Pirate Faction

This table shows the number of empty containers encountered from all 100 data sites for each pirate faction. The final column shows the total number of empty containers.

This data suggests that every fourth or fifth high-security data site will have an empty container, with Info Shard containers being significantly more likely to be empty.

Total Loot by Pirate Faction

This table shows the number of each item that I looted from all 100 data sites for each pirate faction. The final column shows the total loot from all 500 data sites.

These results suggest that each high-security data site will typically drop at least two decryptors, one datacore, one stack of faction materials, and one other item.
