Relic Site Loot Statistics

This page reveals my loot statistics for high-security pirate faction relic sites. These statistics come from running 100 relic sites for each of the five major pirate factions.

The relic sites video guide is planned for release on Sunday, July 30th.

Average Item Count by Item Type

This table shows the minimum, maximum, and average number of each type of item that can drop in relic site containers.

Relic Sites by Pirate Faction

Within each region of high-security space, I ran 100 relic sites. This table shows the number of each type of relic site that I found while gathering my loot statistics.

All high-security relic sites have 2 + [Scanning Difficulty] containers. Sites with a scanning difficulty of level 4 include a single Rubble container.

Empty Containers by Pirate Faction

This table shows the number of empty containers encountered from all 100 relic sites for each pirate faction. The final column shows the total number of empty containers.

These results suggest that most high-security relic sites will have at least one empty container, with every fourth or fifth site having a second empty container.

Total Loot by Pirate Faction

This table shows the number of each item that I looted from all 100 relic sites for each pirate faction. The final column shows the total loot from all 500 relic sites.

These results suggest that each high-security relic site will drop roughly 30 Tech 1 salvage items, and every second relic site will drop a single Tech 2 salvage item.
